Coach travel

Has anyone used the coach package before, and if so, what are the coaches like? I'm assuming they have a toilet and comfortable seating. I'm travelling down from Edinburgh so would like it to be not too bad an experience

Seeticket coaches are fine, reasonably comfortable and yes they have a toilet on board. I managed to sleep the whole journey back last year so that would be an indication of how comfortable they are!

It's the easiest way to travel I think, the only downside is the luggage restriction.

National Express coaches are surprisingly nice, loads of leg room and leather seats.

Not sure what the See coaches are like.

National Express coaches are definitely nicer but there's not much in it really.

take advantage of the toilets bound to be better than what you will experience over the weekend

I've had a couple of coach trips where the toilet did not work, that was only from Heathrow, Which is only 3 or 4 hours

I always leave Heathrow on a lovely National Express coach, but the in bound is often from a private coach company, older not so comfy, but still gets me back home safely

I took the See coach from Sheffield in 2011 and it was fine, toilet on board and stopped half-way for a break at the motorway services.

As stated above, the only downside for me was the restriction on what you can carry.
