First time at T.. Help!

Hello!

So this is going to be my first time at T in the park, although not my first festival....

I’ve purchased a weekend camping and early bird ticket and will be travelling down from London (via coach) on Wednesday night, to arrive on Thursday morning. I was just wondering with the early bird what time are you aloud into the camp site and where’s the best place to camp?

I last went on Thursday in 2011 and Im sure I was in the campsite by 11AM, we went to Purple campsite and it was decent on top of a hill and about 5-10 min walk from arena. Blue is the best place to camp though

Great, thank you both for your help but I do hope the camp site opens early im arriving at 10am :/

Just looked at my 2013 ticket. It opened on 3PM on the Thursday apparently, they will probably confirm times nearer event though.

It says on ticket 3pm but the last 3 times I've went on the Thursday they opened the gates about 2

Down from London is France. I'd travel up if I were you They never used to let you in till 3pm but I believe it's 12pm now. Worth getting in the queue early though.

Even if the gates don't open till 12pm, just crack open a bottle of wine, cider etc. and sit and chill out for a few hours. You won't be the only ones in the que.
