ChewieDC
So here is a question. Our group of four have coach tickets and I am the lead booker (thank God), but one person from that group will be missing our bus and will get to the festival two days later. Do you think there will be problem with handing out ticket for this person to us?
BABLUE
If last year was anything to go by it's only the lead booker who needs to be on the coach. I was actually given mine and my girlfriends tickets before the coach boarded which was perfect as we were taking our caravan & she was driving it down separately. I would suggest that you e mail See Tickets & they will reply saying it's OK & take that e mail with you just in case you get an awkward coach driver. Tompip72
I'll second Bablue's post, only lead booker needs to be there to collect ticket. My girlfriend collecting ours last year and I drove the van down. Luck of the draw as to what the coach driver is like though, as the one she had insisted he would not give her the ticket until they reached the site. We even stopped at the same service station but she couldn't jump in with me because he was being a jobsworth. She ended up having to cross the entire site to get to the campervan fields. Neville Street
I have been trying to email them about this for a week. I emailed the same person @ see who confirmed it last year, by replying to the email from last year. I forwarded to help@, customer.service@ and glastonbury@seetickets.com and no response. Have just been on their website and logged in and sent it as a question. Do you have a working email address? Cheers, NS
Leoness
Try help@glastonburyfestivals.co.uk they were pretty quick responding to me from this email address.
sonicpurveyor
use a little white lie, the lead booker can make it but the other half now has to go on a training course or cant have the day off or some other viable excuse and they have to come up the day later etc ,
ChewieDC
Some good news from See Coachces for everyone interested: "Good morning All entry tickets will be handed to the lead booker named on the coach E-Ticket so this will be okay but you will obviously need to make your own arrangements to meet your girlfriend at the festival entrance so that you can give her her ticket. Kind Regards Andy Burton Customer Services SEE Tickets"
Jay.driscoll
Sorry to be a spoil sport.... just had this email from See Tickets Dear CustomerAs the lead booker of your original Glastonbury Festival Ticket & Coach Package, you should have by now received your Coach e-ticket(s).If you haven't received this for whatever reason, please ensure you contact our Customer Service team at https://www.seetickets.com/CustomerService If you (as the lead booker) are no longer travelling or you have since cancelled your original deposit booking, you should forward the e-ticket on to the remaining members of your travelling party so they can board the coach. All coach drivers will have a full passenger list, and will be checking e-tickets upon boarding to ensure they are valid and the correct number of people are present. Please ensure therefore you print your e-ticket off in advance. Please note this e-ticket solely gains you access to coach travel only and is in no way related to your entry tickets. As stated in the terms and conditions laid out by Glastonbury, if you book a Ticket & Coach Package then all parties must be present on the coach to receive entry tickets. To clarify each entry ticket per registration is individually sealed, and will only be handed to the name on the ticket once basic identification is verified. So if you have booked for example 4 tickets in one order, each ticket will be individually sealed and only passed to the specific person on the ticket itself. If said person is not on the coach the entry ticket will be returned to Glastonbury Festival upon arrival. We strongly advise therefore you board the coach you have purchased. If you have a Return Ticket, make sure you keep your e-ticket safe for the way home on Monday 30th June. Especially if it rains... Which of course it isn’t! verrymerry
I was going to quote the email today from SEE but it contradicts the reply the OP got! I assumed if someone doesn't get on the coach they give the tickets to the site office, but sounds like it's ok
norrm
In similar situation but group of six missing someone who has to be at school event and come down two days after coach. Not sure whether to hope for best or risk getting a no from See
Neville Street
I think a printed copy of Chewie's email will do the trick. I have a similar reply from See as my wife has a new job and is giving some of the kids a lift. We had v similar situation last year and the tix were handed to the nominated person for passing on. Worst case scenario it looks like they will end up available from an office on site, but I am traveling with confidence that I will get all the tix and hand them out to the separate travellers when they get to the site. ChewieDC
Yeah, just print e-mail I posted here. They send this replay even after general mail from See which everyone got.
norrm
Hi Chewie Do you think you could put up your email from See again but in such a way that the date is on it, since you said you got it the day after See sent that stricter email? Might just save our bacon Norrm
