cagetheginger
Its my first time going and ive heard the majority of people are gcse finishers, is this true ? also what campsite do young ones camp in?
Chavmeisterdeluxe
Just take a stroll in the line up thread and you'll see its mostly 'whacky' school kids. You do get a fairly wide range although there is a lot of younger kids every year.
Gucci Piggy
Bloomin eck he's back. I'm 18 and half the people there are younger than me. The other half are around my age.
craigyb31
I'll be 43 this year when I'm there and there's plenty of us old gits around
kemosabe
60% demographic of 16-18 year olds (cant remember where I read that though) Basically "younger ones" camp where they want. If you party all night and want no sleep then Red is for you... Yellow or Orange might be cool as a first festival as they are a little more chilled... If you a little more relaxed then those go Purple

dentalplan
Felt like that in 2011 and 2012. Last year I didn't see one family all weekend and almost everyone was my age or younger.

the wonderwhy
Yellow is full of little fucks who decide that it's a good idea to kill two birds with one stone and do both alcohol and MDMA for the first time, together. Not good.

TenInchToenaiIs
If you're going to Reading and want a party go to Yellow (the camp not the forum user), seems to be the rowdiest of the camps. And I'd say the average age is about 18, but there are hella 16 year olds there

thetime
I wonder what the bars did all weekend with everyone being 17 or under. P.S. You go to Leeds.
the wonderwhy
To be fair you notice the 16 year olds a lot more so you get a false impression there are more of them.
TenInchToenaiIs
I can't remember the band it was but someone shouted 'who got their GCSE results yesterday?' And the cheer was louder than I'd expected
