Briggs0102
Hi all Me and my friends are planning on camping at Pennard Hill Grounds, however we are all arriving at different times, some not until Thursday. We are all getting the train or coach, so the chance of getting a spot all together is likely to be quite difficult. We want a lively camping spot so want to do Pennard, however if we can't get us all in, what would be the best alternative camping spot where we may all get in but still have a lively atmosphere? Thank you Bill
blackred
Anywhere in the north west corner should still have space come thursday, you will be coming in through gate A so won't have far to walk before you pitch. Unless the weather is really bad where you camp shouldn't really impact on your enjoyment of the festival, long walks back from the south east corner in the early hours can be very entertaining in themselves. Also wouldn't worry about having a lively campsite, compared to other big festivals all the campsites at Glastonbury are quite quiet due to the huge amount of after hours entertainment on offer. stardustjunkie
Before you set up camp in Pylon/Bushy/etc area, I should warn you that they are very chilled out campsites that are quite quiet. They have a lot of space but if you're looking for a late night party like atmosphere then you might want to venture further in. Although my advice would be not to worry too much about where you camp and spend your time somewhere together where you can be part of the fun and in the thick of it all. You'll have a great time regardless of where your tent is
kalifire
Take note of the combination of Aracdia's relocation and line-up. That really opens up the SW corner, particularly Dairy Ground. It's not as central as Pennard but it'll be more lively than previous years, I'm sure.
