Gucci Piggy
If Muse don't play Glastonbury or any of their own dates in the Summer I'll strongly consider a Saturday day ticket with Faith No More subbing. A few decent acts lower down would guarantee it.
dentalplan
Copping's been singing Marilyn Manson's praises for weeks and was invited to see them in Las Vegas. They must be up against Muse. Not sure about the Friday because they'd be best off with an older act and if Motorhead look unlikely then no idea. the wonderwhy
I'd be keen for a Faith No More/Muse day ticket but I can tell the rest of the day will be full of crap if A Day To Remember are playing third down.

Remember there's 4 other stages. They choose to put more things in line with muse/fnm across the other stages that day.
Andre91
I struggled to think of a second stage headliner to go opposite Slipknot. Was it luckysalt who said Lamb Of God were supposed to headline it last year but pulled out? So I think they will headline it this year opposite Muse, something for the metal fans. I also thought Manson would headline one of the nights too, but I can't see him being opposite Slipknot, similar fan bases and all.
justanothername
Muse and A Day To Remember is really good for me. Don't listen to FNM but I'm sure it's something I can easily get into and if not I'm sure there will be something else. Really tempted by a day ticket now

The undercard is always pretty rubbish for me at Download anyway, I was just hoping for more of a day like Iron Maiden last year where I would've been happy at the main stage all day Edited November 13, 2014 by MattDavies__
PastCaring
Similar to what I went with: Friday Muse Faith No More Incubus Alice in Chains Black Spiders Korn Body Count Godsmack Saturday Slipknot Judas Priest Lamb of God Five Finger Death Punch In Flames A Day To Remember Papa Roach Hollywood Undead Sunday Kiss Mötley Crüe Slash Airbourne Accept Enter Shikari Parkway Drive Asking Alexandria That would guarantee us buying a Friday day ticket! lightning1000
Personally, would love weezer to headline 2nd opposite opposite SlIpknot. Will probably be all time low I reckon

SOAD
Only thing that seems a bit weak about the lineup to me is Five Finger Death Punch as third from top... they definitely aren't at A Day To Remember or Slash's level... think something like this would be good for top 4 and second stage headline: Slipknot Judas Priest Marilyn Manson Five Finger Death Punch Frank Turner Muse Faith No More A Day To Remember Rise Against KoRn Kiss Motley Crue Slash Lamb of God Enter Shikari
Moey
Wouldn't people expect Alice Cooper to be in there too ?? He's supporting Crue on their farewell tour isn't he ?
lightning1000
I too was surprised about ffdp being third on main, but they are.
DomDom1984
Five Finger Death Punch being third on main says that the lineup is going to be fairly bare going into the undercard on the Friday.
lightning1000
On main maybe, could still be strong on second and 3rd.
the wonderwhy
Is this lot all going to be announced in one go then?
dentalplan
Isn't it a given that they'll stick Papa Roach and King 810 and stuff on Slipknot's day? I think Alice Cooper could be there seeing as he's in Switzerland the next weekend. Did Copping say something last year that he wouldn't book him though? Though that was probably because he was booked for elsewhere. I don't think Korn will play. They've not been announced for anything else and you'd expect them to have been already. lightning1000
Is this lot all going to be announced in one go then? No, each day will be announced separately, in consecutive days. That's not everything that's getting announced either.
devilman
I didn't see many better bands than 5FDP this year. They'll easily justify their 3rd slot.
rawaudioinput
That's not everything that's getting announced either. Are there going to be more alternative-leaning bands to cater to the Muse crowd? Manics, Brand New, etc.
luckysalt
Five Finger Death Punch being third on main says that the lineup is going to be fairly bare going into the undercard on the Friday. FFDP are massive in the US, so I imagine any international acts wouldn't have a problem playing under them. Its taken them a long time to get to the level they are in the US here, but they're getting there. I'll add Im not a fan, but I have seen them at Download before and I really enjoyed them, just on record they suck. I'll give them a shot unless theres something amazing on the other stages. Yeah definitely see them turning up... didn't think main although they'd do well on there. Edit: I've added full second to my prediction above.
