If Muse don't play Glastonbury or any of their own dates in the Summer I'll strongly consider a Saturday day ticket with Faith No More subbing. A few decent acts lower down would guarantee it.

Copping's been singing Marilyn Manson's praises for weeks and was invited to see them in Las Vegas. They must be up against Muse. Not sure about the Friday because they'd be best off with an older act and if Motorhead look unlikely then no idea.

I struggled to think of a second stage headliner to go opposite Slipknot. Was it luckysalt who said Lamb Of God were supposed to headline it last year but pulled out? So I think they will headline it this year opposite Muse, something for the metal fans. I also thought Manson would headline one of the nights too, but I can't see him being opposite Slipknot, similar fan bases and all.

Muse and A Day To Remember is really good for me. Don't listen to FNM but I'm sure it's something I can easily get into and if not I'm sure there will be something else. Really tempted by a day ticket now

Yeah I know. The undercard is always pretty rubbish for me at Download anyway, I was just hoping for more of a day like Iron Maiden last year where I would've been happy at the main stage all day

Haven't been announced yet for any early summer festivals, but then again the only date they have got so far end in December, but I reckon they'll do R&L (and I hope so)

Only thing that seems a bit weak about the lineup to me is Five Finger Death Punch as third from top... they definitely aren't at A Day To Remember or Slash's level... think something like this would be good for top 4 and second stage headline:

I think Alice Cooper could be there seeing as he's in Switzerland the next weekend. Did Copping say something last year that he wouldn't book him though? Though that was probably because he was booked for elsewhere.

I don't think Korn will play. They've not been announced for anything else and you'd expect them to have been already.

I didn't see many better bands than 5FDP this year. They'll easily justify their 3rd slot.

FFDP are massive in the US, so I imagine any international acts wouldn't have a problem playing under them. Its taken them a long time to get to the level they are in the US here, but they're getting there.

I'll add Im not a fan, but I have seen them at Download before and I really enjoyed them, just on record they suck. I'll give them a shot unless theres something amazing on the other stages.
