Saying that it's going to be a "hard rock set" from Muse is vague as f**k, and deliberately so. Don't expect THAT much different from them.

Muse are a fantastic booking & this announcement has urinated all over yesterdays (apart from Priest) from a great height.

I think the Muse day will be big for day tickets but I still don’t think that many of their core fanbase will be up for a weekend of Slipknot & KISS.

That's a good point- I don't expect many Muse fans to be massively keen on either Slipknot or Black Stone Cherry. I'm sure Cowboy Copping has covered it, but will be interesting to see what else he's booked to please the 'new' crowd he's trying to draw in with Muse- not just on the Saturday but across the weekend too.

Probably more along the lines of ADTR and Shikari, even though I picture all of Muse's fans as being clones of Will and hating those bands

I know people say a lot of the time that it's the undercard that makes it more enjoyable. To some extent, last year was like that for me at DL as I've never been that bothered with Linkin Park or Avenged Sevenfold. However, bands like Twisted Sister, Temperance Movement, Feed the Rhino made it for me.

This year tho - I couldn't give a fk about the undercard ! I've got a band to see from all of those announced so far (including the expected ones tomorrow).

I've met him a few times and he's never been anything but a true gent.
