I know the bars will only work on tags but I’d be amazed if food stalls turned people away with a tenner in their hand. Even if one did it wouldn’t take much searching before you find a burger van owner who’ll accept cash. Regardless of what the Live Nation party line is.

except I'm guessing that they'll be "mystery shoppers" offering cash to catch the traders out - and i'm guessing they'll be consequences* to them for doing that, which they'll be made aware of in advance.

(* perhaps there's some way to fine them agreed in the contracts, or perhaps it'll only be that they'll never be allowed back. Either way, I suspect there's enough pressure on traders for them not to do it).

Festivals don't half rip you off. The exchange rate is 1 toastie = 1 beer where I live.

I've just seen this cool thing. You can vote here for where you want Motley Crue to play on the farewell tour. Sadly they don't have any random horrible places you can send them but might be of some interest to folk here anyway.

Except that TS wasn't quite as sucky and dated. Enter Shakira and then end of Kiss for me, and hope it doesn't suck too much.

The only clash for me is Funeral For A Friend and Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! I think I'll go for Captain Chunk though, I like more of their stuff than FFAF.
