I personally think mackay was a little overrated. While any promotion is impressive, 3 teams do it every season. There's no way dyche or Pearson will get another premiership job if they start like mackay did in the premiership.

I think he received a lot of goodwill because he was built as a hero against the villainous tan. With that goodwill gone, he will struggle to get a decent job.

While balotelli is good entertainment, I don't think he is right for Liverpool. They had a great team spirit last season with everyone pulling together and egos mainly kept in check. There's a risk balotelli disrupts that.

I think Balotelli back in the Prem would be great entertainment. Humongous talent and utter nutter. Best replacement for Suarez they could get.

Has there been much discipline/off field issues etc etc or is he beginning to mature? He has banged in a fair few goals I believe and if memory serves me some have been pretty audacious as well

Apparently its a 4 year deal worth 6m and its confirmed he wont be registered in time for Mon according to the BBC. Chatter is he is fine with the clause..............we will see.

Looks like Everton have brought Diame.....Feels a bit weak by us to let him go, takes alot of pot shots that go wide....but when his on form he sure can run at defences!

Will be weaker without him, and it leaves us with just Diego Poyet covering the 2 centre mid/DM positions. (With Kouyate looking like he might be covering CB to and we're already down 1 recognised CB in the first team for Crystal Palace!.)

Well I guess we have Ravel to, but his a bit of lose cannon to be relied on.

He plays a more defensive role for West Ham...but then so does most of the team

I reckon he could play more of attacking role at CM though, can charge forward and lauch a ball into Row Z!
