I dunno, they're still esentially cast-offs from other European teams. Doesn't affect their quality but I don't see why journalists would be 'creaming themsleves'. Fans may ebe excited but I don't see what journalists gain from it (apart form the obvious with Balotelli).

Top talent coming into the league. More for journos to write about. More people reading about the league. More international exposure. Journos are busier today than they were yesterday. There are 50 million football mad Columbians waking up this morning to their countrys best player moving clubs.

As for South Americans, you just take them when you can and be happy about it. They're over in Europe to play football and make a shit load of cash. You can't assume theres any loyalty. Maradona, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Suarez, Falcao, Mascherano, Veron, Di Maria, Tevez, Cafu etc etc.

and still a midfield and defence that average players will walk thru. Until that's sorted Falcao is as good for you as Di Maria.
