School leavers far far far more likely to know Sex on Fire and Use Somebody than a biffy song   They'd be a weird booking - there's not many fests biffy suit now i think (which is why they don't get booked for many it seems!)   Too expensive to be worth a risk as their biggest headliner for the small-medium fests but not enough draw for the biggest fests to bother

Fontaines are miles bigger than VW ever have been right now!   Jamie T did truck the second year of touring, whereas Sam Fender was on a meteoric rise. I reckon Truck have missed the fontaines boat now - I don't think Live Nation would let them have them alongside finsbury (mind you i doubt they thought it would have already sold out!)   Foals were probably bigger when they did it to be honest than VW (hometown act anyway)
