I have been sent multiple screenshots from my friend who is in one of these paid groups for bots that sell clothes etc.    They made one for Glasto tickets this year, with a very good success rate. 

Because the "bot detection" is shockingly poor.

Even if true (which I'd be doubtful on, their past record has always been that even when they'd be justified taking action they don't), then it'd only affect people who were able to press "back" and get a second/third chance - not any of the other (too my mind far more problematic) holes that could be taken advantage of.

Thank you so much for all the info! We finally decided to book the quiet(ish). I couldn't bear to arrive late on Thursday and then have to struggle to find a place to pitch our tents at the regular glasto camping. Let's hope the showers are worth the extra price! 

Remember a) where you parked you car and b) where you pitched your tent.  In both cases relative to things that don't move - like hedges and pylons.  No point thinking I parked next to a big red van, because it might have left before you go to hunt out your car.  No point thinking my tent is next to the big blue one, because when you return at night there might be a dozen more big blue tents.
