Fairly sure Showtime do as they bought the scripts and all or something, Frost is still on board so may not be a complete train wreck. Frost was key to a lot of the series to be fair.

I just think it would be funny to watch people's reactions if instead of a direct sequel series we got another Fire Walk With Me.

Oh fuck it. It's only a photo of me at the seaside and I thought why not. Nevertheless it does look slightly like Will-2609's photo (the large glasses I think)

My photo isn't me though. I think he meant it actually looks like me (I don't think it does tho).

Also I always want to change my avatar but I hate it when people change theirs so I'd feel bad doing so.

Many apologies Ben. New to it and didn't know how to skip through all the previous posts from last July.

I have been following forum for a few days now. I only have a Sunday ticket and waiting is killing me.

I am a bit surprised that there hasn't been any sort of final payment reminder. Just had to do a quick message around the team to make sure noone has forgotten to settle up.

although everybody going should have been champing at the bit to pay up, i can see this getting a bit of criticism, and i'm sure a fair few people have unknowingly just missed the final payment date. very odd behaviour from the Glasto team

In any other year it'd probably be OK, but the clash with the Easter break when people might be away does exacerbate it a bit.

I've never actually seen Fire Walk With Me, really need to.

It's kind of a failure, but it's a really, really interesting failure. It plays less like a prequel or sequel and more like a deconstruction of the entire show. David Foster Wallace was pretty much spot on about it in his essay David Lynch Keeps His Head:

"This transformation of Laura from object/occasion to subject/person was actually the most morally ambitious thing a Lynch movie has ever tried to do - maybe an impossible thing, given the psychological context of the series and the fact that you had to be familiar with the series to make even marginal sense of the movie - and it required complex and contradictory and probably impossible things from Ms. Lee, who in my opinion deserved an Oscar nomination just for showing up and trying."

It's a mess, but it's also bleak as hell and fucking heartbreaking in places.

I'm sorry but if you're over the age of seven then the email a couple of days before payment window opens should be plenty. I admit I'm surprised but any criticism would not be justified

a single email that could get lost amongst the thousand of other spam emails people receive isn't really enough though, is it? i know i'd be paying up asap, but i'm sure we'll be seeing a fair few complaints in the next few weeks regarding this
