La Swift sits in the sweet spot of massive popularity/accessibility and critical credibility and respect-due kudos (for want of better terms).

As such, she'd be the perfect balancer if the other two acts are more dad-rocky (thinking the Foos and Dacker).

I wouldn't worry, there's no way on this planet that The Script are a credible headliner. They're just not big enough, and they're crap. They're a band for people who think Athlete are bit too extreme.

Hey, I can get tickets for Taylor Swift at the MEN arena, or tickets for Glastonbury in the resale (NFiR NFC), I can't get both. Luckily, with #TeamSwift, there is no compromise, it's glorious.

But in ten Glastonburys to date I've only watched six Pyramid headliners (I spent good time working that out). So I really don't care.

I had promised myself a ticket to see her on this tour ... if for some reason she doesn't happen at Glastonbury (although in my head the only thing that could now stop it is a Bono style accident) I am going to be even more pissed I didn't go see the 'Red' tour.

yeah in 4 glastos i think only headliners ive seen is 20 mins of the stones from the very very back of the field & metallicas intro, then got bored as soon as they started. 2011 i dont think i caught a single band on either pyramid or other all weekend, too easy to miss anything planned with getting lost & ending up where you end up. the beauty of it though

Not too bothered about who headlines the thing other than the remote possibilities of Kanye, AC/DC and obviously #TeamSwift, but Muse headlining seems utter balls to me. It's too soon since last time, and they're bloody textbook stale. I had sort of assumed R&L would get Libs, Muse and RHCP, but I'm unsure how this sits with conventional wisdom as the R&L forum doesn't do rumours these days, just the same 8 posters making increasingly self-referential in jokes and tugging each other off.
