Yeah I found that one when I actually bothered to look outside YouTube.

I've been imagining LGC to be a huge party track on the Pyramid, get the whole crowd dancing, so the tempo here has me a bit disappointed. I'd still be lapping this up though!

Yeah, they'll announce some names in May I reckon, after the resales and before the refund date. I really don't think its such an issue at the moment.

That would be a great little experiment to try, I'd still a buy a ticket, be ace walking through the gates getting the programme seeing whos playing. They'd have to let me on the Monday though, I'd need 2 days to go through it and see who I wanna see...

i definitely think we'll get the majority of the lineup before the cancellation date, but not before the resale. push it any further than that and i think they'd start to upset a fair few people, and although it probably wouldn't be noticeable during the main sale next year, if they kept it up it'd become a problem further down the line imo

aye i'm really not feeling that slowed down version - Let's Go Crazy is supposed to come really early in the second (first or second) and get everybody in to a frenzy. this does nothing for me

Careful, chaps! The doctor on the telly has warned me to stay indoors and not physically exert myself due to the super-pollution happening today. Oh well. I guess I'll have to watch films, listen to music and obsess over festival line ups all day, then. Again!

Sounds like a hard life I feel sorry for you

Can I chuck another name in. I picked up the new Mojo yesterday and in the back is a large ad for Supertramp at the O2 in December. One "historic" show. They were absolutely massive back in the day and are British, never played Glastonbury, a true heritage act, etc. Thoughts?

Not sure how relevant they still are and how much mass appeal they would have. a great band defiantly. Will proabably get slated by fan boys for saying that now :D

Yeah, that's a performance for the old school fans, not for people coming hoping for a hit filled set. I'd hope he'd turn it up a notch if he were to grace the Pyramid. I'm a big fan of artists reworking their familiar tracks into something different live, as long as they are still happy to play it vanilla from time to time.

Yeah, I'm in my mid 40s and only got into them because of older friends. They aren't a band that later generations have latched onto and I mostly think it's only people in their 50s that really have any love for them.

To be fair, it's not my life, it's me making the most (or, indeed, least) of my Easter holidays. I work very hard during term time to entitle me to sit on my arse and do eff all at times like this.

They're surely more of a mid-afternoon thing, rather than headliners. Also, June's a bit early for a December warm-up show.

Plus, aren't they responsible for "inspiring" bands like The Hoosiers?!

I've done some digging and it's a full European tour but NOT a full reunion with Roger Hodgson, the high pitched lead vocalist which I had assumed. I couldn't see them headlining but what a great choice for a sunny afternoon slot.

Im sure someone on the glastofest facebook put up a photo of him and michael eavis yesterday when he visited his work and apprantly michael said 9am for the lineup.........today? who knows? fucking with the guy? who knows? guys full of shit? who knows? but its a glimmer of hope....stand by ya beds for 9am kiddies :P

That one was a wind up.

Mind all bets seem to be off this year, so who knows...?

Can't believe Michael would tell a stranger something definite that he wouldn't tell the likes of efests etc

I dunno, he's a west country bloke. I grew up as a very gullible child and my relatives took great pleasure in telling me all sorts of tall tales, it seemed to be some sort of hobby. Maybe every person who asks him the question he's just giving them a joke answer and giggling to himself as they walk away?

I'm absolutely sure Michael told him personally exactly when the line up will be announced. That definitely sounds like something that would actually happen.

I know of a few people that's happened with lately, actually, and in every case they've been told by Michael that the announcement will be (or probably be) within the next 24 hours.

So either Michael is taking the piss out of them, or Michael doesn't appear to know what the score is (which wouldn't surprise me too much) - take your pick.
