Christ. We're not back to the ***** ***** rumours again are we?! I thought we hadn't so much put that rumour to bed but nailed in a coffin, cremated it and fired it in a rocket off to the darkest depths of space.

Bookies exist to make money.

I'll fist my own arse up at the ***** Circle on Thursday night whilst singing I Am the Resurrection if they headline Sunday night. It ain't happening

Wish there was a **********Blocker like there is a Nickelback Blocker

Edit - Awesome. Simple Profanity Filter. Can add Stone and Roses. I'm happy now.

Yes! Must be about five years since they last released anything. Are they still going or have they split?

Saw them at The Whiskey Sessions in Manchester a few months ago. It was the first gig they'd done for a couple of years or so but they sounded excellent. Did a full hits show and absolutely tore the place up. Whipping Piccadilly is just about the best set closer out there, along with MDGAF by SFA.

I love the different way that Glastonbury does things - and it works, very well - but from what I see and what I know, and with the contrast I have sat here from other festivals, being organised or professional are not really the sorts of words that most people would apply to them in any normal business sense (tho I'm sure much is done in an exemplary manner).

Do you think their 'different way' has cost them acts in the past? Just wondering if the management companies of some big american acts have backed off once they are faced with Glasto's way of working?

3rd Headliner = Paul McCartney! :D

Reason 1)

Eavis previously said one headliner is :

"He's definitely British, but the band are not British anymore"

Paul's current band is American. The other 2 headliners are American so the 3rd would need to be British (And Male)

Reason 2)

Plus, Florence + Machine could've headlined Sunday, so the 3rd headliner would have to be quite big to bump her down the line-up

Reason 3)

Reason Paul hasn't been announced is because he was announced as a European exclusive for Roskilde Fest - Hence the 'Special Guests'

Gareth of LC! was telling a story about one of these proper shite bands at their Manc gig, I think it was The Fratellis or the Enemy (someone else who was at the gig correct me).

He said their roadies were instructed to empty out bottles of lager and fill them with water so they could look like lads on stage.

It was The Enemy! I've got your back, bro.

Why did you create a post for this as well?

Macca has been thrown around. Most just choose to ignore it as they would rather see the Roses or P***** (did I do right in not speaking his name? Ha!).

Although I seem to remember Emily(?) claiming that the Foos were the only rock headliner, so wouldn't that rule out the Roses or Blur? Unless they are being looked upon as fillers for a drop.

Blur, it's obvious. They wouldn't turn it down if asked. Especially if the Eavi were left with little options after the Prince fiasco as it is little time to arrange it unless they are on tour, which they are.

If it wasn't Fleetwood Mac before because they were busy - then it sure is ain't going to be them now. Nout has changed since then for Fleetwood.

Blur, because they wouldn't ask for heaps of money in the Eavis family very limited time. Sorted.

Struggling here !!!

Anyway, it's the latest tweet from ###### - does he know something about the 3rd headliner or is he just yet another wind-up merchant ?

ha I think his name is banned on here. I clicked one of the links, he's just a bellend who says stuff to generate traffic I believe.
