Blur would be a strong name but arguably a lazy booking. Ok, maybe lazy is a little harsh but it does seem a little strange as to why they haven't got the third headliner signed up with less then three months to go. Is this usual practice for GFL? I wonder when the latest a headliner has ever been secured? I guess the problem is, the later you leave it, the fewer options are left?

Blur do tend to load their sets with new songs, festivals or not. They said they learned a lesson at T when they practically did 13 in full, but then did similar after Think Tank.

Never enough Think Tank tbh, if they do play I'll be praying against all reasonable odds that 'Moroccan People's Revolutionary Bowls Club' gets played.

2 weeks ago Thom Yorke came into my coffee shop & I asked him if they were the 3rd headliner, he said they're not, and that the sound off the pyramid isn't good enough for them to consider playing (I did say that on here at the time).

What an amazing coincidence, someone else posted the exact same thing about a month ago.

I guess thom must be doing a tour of coffee shops or something.

Madonna added new dates to her tour as these are selling and she is adding more she won't be announced but once she has she will be. Still the most likely candidate for me by quite some way.

That tour doesn't start til the end of August though. And she's not playing in the UK until December. Surely Glasto doesn't fit into that?

(I really don't want it to be Madonna)

This list was seen on a video of blur in the studio

10 from the new album seems a little excessive, but if they're concerned about not just repeating themselves then it makes sense. A lot of people have said they wouldn't do Glasto because they couldn't top 2009, with a set like this they don't have to.

Seriously? Even U2 played and they never step out their tour comfort zone. Guess the days of radiohead at festivals are over then! Can't get much better than the pyramid

The only stage i think is better sound than the pryamid is the main stage at Bestival, just an opinion. bu Metallica were so loud last year, was epic. Loudest ive heard at a gig. even the sound check was booming!

The only time I've seen blur live was that titp set. I was hoping it would be them but now you have me worried. By God that was a depressing set.

Bestival has great sound on the main stage, lots of bass too for the inter band DJs, dance & pop acts like Example, Katie B, Magnetic Man, Pendulum & Major Lazor which spring to mind.

Metallica & off the top of my head, Dizzee Rascal, was loud though.
