I keep seeing this posted, but I thought that the field was extended as a result of the problems that they had the previous year with congestion on the top corners and it was now a permanent feature. Was Row mead back up against the path last year?

Would it fit if it was just Chris Martin appearing or would it only fit if it was all coldplay

The info I had was definitely 'Coldplay'.

But because of how this info is sourced - often from little more than gossip - it's easily possible that the finer detail got lost along the way.

You only have to look at how the media often manage to completely change a story as it gets republished to see how detail gets lost and changed along the way to know this happens very easily with those who don't pay full attention, so lost detail is easily possible for the whispers I often work from.

I don't know anything more about what Coldplay or Chris Martin are doing than I knew yesterday, so me speculating around this could be completely wrong still - but it does seem to make sense as a reason for why the Coldplay info I got was wrong.

the only thing that fits is some sort of charity all-star gig, with Chris Martin behind it, where 2 of the bigger acts are british.

No Doubt/Usher/Fall Out Boy/others playing a concert in America makes little difference to what's going to be on the Pyramid Stage.

No Doubt (and why choose them over other acts on that bill?) are very stylistically different to Coldplay, so there's almost zero chance that they're playing together, or Chris Martin featuring in a No Doubt concert, which in itself is a silly suggestion for Pyramid headliners.

but there's been no suggestion of it being that.

It would be a "Global Citizen" concert at which No Doubt were 'guests' (if No Doubt were involved), and quite possibly not the only 'guests'.

Maybe it is now a permanent feature, to be honest can not remember how it was last year as I didnt go that far back.
