I'm so confused...

So what are we actually talking about here? A supergroup?

And then it mentions members of Pink Floyd and Queen?! It's like something somebody would write on here at 3am on a Friday night

I suggest you look at hints of a supergroup posts - concerning members of those acts, and another (they who shall not be named)

I'm a bit bewildered that efests have posted an article about it to be honest.

No chance.

But it's fine for others to contantly post up articles on bookies odds, and acts who can't even play, but for us to do a piece on actual stuff from the festival founders mouth is crazy?

:perspective?

Not been able to read anything here for the past 24hrs (god damn work & hospitalised wife ruin everything!), I've just sat and read from yesterday lunchtime and basically, after a lot of speculation based on minimal information, I still don't feel any closer to knowing anything. A duo, a collaboration, a supergroup, sting, Beatles, gold plated usher, no doubt, prince, Bowie, fleetwod mac, aarrggghhhhhh, ........ Is this thread sponsored by the new bar in shangri-la that's promising to brainwash people?

Genuine question because I know so little of their stuff... maybe one song I think.

Have they anywhere near enough stuff for such a high slot?

I can't take the idea seriously!

They definitely have enough material, but they wouldn't headline outright, I think they'd probably sub the other stage personally

Two headliners isn't such a crazy idea .. Can it not just be a case of two joint headliners like other festivals have done in the past? Maybe two acts who are similar sized but not deemed big enough to headline alone? Would make a lot more sense than the other possibilities being thrown around!

But they've already got one of those sort of acts in Florence, why book two more?

This is making my head hurt.

Seems a bit more realistic yeah.

This whole new tangent seems strange but the idea of Waters, Gilmour and Martin together, while probably outlandish, is the first thing about headliners that has interested me all year.

I'm happy to have this shot down very quickly it's just a side thought

Peter Hook and band have learned the full Joy Division back catalogue it seems for they shows in the summer

They are playing other shows and along with some guest appearances as front man, it's not impossible
