what the fucking fuck are these rumours? only just tuned into it all. can't think of any realistic combination of available artists that would be anything other than shit in some sort of hybrid headline slot. sounds absolutely turd. don't do it.

If what he said is actually true, I just think it'll be two separate acts being billed as headliners, rather than some hybrid thing. I could them doing this as a way of slotting in Swift, without pissing off too many regulars, by having Blur or someone on as well.

Does anyone else think co headliners are a bullshit term? Cause the act that plays last is clearly the headliner?

Well tbh the only times I've seen co-headliners is at R&L where one plays last at Reading and one plays last at Leeds, or if it's a headliner with a dance act afterwards. But they could just have a big act playing second from top and bill them as headliners to appease their ego.

Yeah agreed, but Reading & Leeds did a co-headliner thing last year with Paramore & QOTSA and it sort of went down OK. Both bands played headline-length & headline-style sets, but one played before the other (just in case anyone thought...).

Not a great plan in my view, but if this meant we got two fantastic knockout acts for Sunday night, well I won't be a-complainin'

Was Leonard Choen not billed as co-headliner with the verve in 2008? Perhaps my mind's gone....

no, he was subbing, but it was generally seen as a classic set. Sadly i wasnt there , but have seen him since.. almost 3hrs with 4 encores and on stage throughout... superb

Yeah it'd be a surprise if Brian May wasn't a guest with Foo's at Glasto now, they were always going to have some. I reckon JPJ is a shout as well and Macca but I think that's all Macca will have to do with it unless he turns up with Rihanna for Kanye as well.

ah yes , macca another live aid 85 possible as is Reg "elton" Dwight whos gigging and likes festivals these days... And The Who... again British acts who are on the circuit currently and were there 13th Jul 85..

And Didn't Lionel Richie feature in we are the world (but not at Live Aid)... Not sure where all this is going..
