You know I dont think its out the question. A little tester, just to see what its like working together again before committing to a massive tour. They'll never do glastonbury as Oasis again due to money, but to have the "reunion" happen on the Pyramid stage after Noel has (half) headlined with his band (the week before clapham common and a few weeks before Latitude on BBC) would be huge for the festival and I think benefit Noel with his ticket sales too. So feasibly, why not?

Yeah let's just test it out, see how it goes..... by headlining the Pyramid at Glastonbury? Not in a million years. And they headlined in 2004 despite the lower than average payday; so what would stop them ever headlining again when they inevitably reunite Zzz.

It's not Oasis and it never will be. Regardless of the hatchet-burying claims (although Noel has categorically stated that *that* back stage pass wasn't Liam's and that Liam wasn't invited to any HFB gigs) both brothers have said that they can't stand being in a band with each other. If they ever get back together it'll be on Noel's terms and only be for the big money, which we all know Eavis doesn't pay. Love them or hate them, everyone needs to get over even considering them.

I reckon Noel is going to squeeze every last drop out of the HFB before he even considers an oasis reunion. Could be years off, he's no need to do it yet when the solo stuff is paying well.

Yea thats true, but 2bf there have been develoments since. Apprently they have reached an agreement and both have been asked since and not commented on it! which is unusual! it wont be oasis but High flying birds with liam coming on for a song or 2 is definitley an option!

According to nobody but the tabloids who have fuelled reunion speculation for nearly five years. Last year they apparently had an agreement to open a pub in Ireland which neither pooh-poohed either. Doesn't mean its going to happen. Liam "guesting" with Noel is pie in the sky thinking. Noel's setlists are as rigid as concrete. If he's there, the only special guest he'll have is Johnny Marr.

Yeah I agree with this. Noel will be touring until next year with his High Flying Birds stuff and I don't see him jumping straight from that to an Oasis reunion given how long he generally leaves between tours and albums. If there is to be a reunion, it'll be much further down the line.

I don't think it would be Oasis. Noel is in the middle of HFBs shows.

So, if it's something around Noel and Liam, I'd guess it would be Liam guesting for a few songs with HFB's.

I presume no one has managed to find the claimed show in Austria for the Sunday?

The thing is if Liam comes out and guests on a few Oasis/ NGHFB songs at the beginning of the festival season then everyone will be expecting it at T/ Latitude etc.

Much like the rumours of Bowie guesting with Arcade Fire it completely takes the fire out of their own headline performance and everyone would be talking about the guest appearance.
