LadyP
I can't be doing with Jimmy Carr on the telly but he comes to the theatre I work at all the time and I like his live show, he can be much more controversial live which I think helps. He's actually also a nice guy to meet, and always takes the time to chat to people. On the telly though he can just be really irritating! Rose-Colored Boy
Do we have any Lunchmoney Lewis fans in the house?!I can't help but wonder why, if he's so bothered about paying his bills, he doesn't simply switch to a more secure job in a less volatile industry. Just doesn't make any sense. Edited May 14, 2015 by Zac Quinn
Anderson19
With lyrics like that he needs to seriously consider songwriting. Pay the bills feed the mouths & not have to worry about where the next pay check is coming from.

swede
I like Jimmy Carr and Nandos. Beginning to think I'm in the wrong place. I like both. I also have jimmy carrs laugh as well
Napoleon_Ultra
Stone Roses? Never heard of em. Sound shit though. They're brilliant. They're a new-ish band from Manchester, inspired by Oasis. They've already had some pretty big gigs. If they were younger, i'd pretict big things for them.

Bisque
Instead of paying out for The Who, why didn't they just get Bloc Party to headline?
jonodillieono
Instead of paying out for The Who, why didn't they just get Bloc Party to headline? and why bother with paul weller? Give Bloc Party a 3 hour set
Rose-Colored Boy
and why bother with paul weller? Give Bloc Party a 3 hour setThree hour Bloc Party set would be preferable to Paul Weller tbh.

Gucci Piggy
3 hour Bloc Party set would be preferable to most things. What a way to end a weekend. Sunday night I might just get hammered, stick some Bloc Party on at my tent and have my own headline set.
willutalk
I do absolutely love a bit of Bloc Party. That Friday night in 2009 at the Other was just immense.

FuzzyDunlop
I must have missed something with bloc party. Always bored me. Indie landfill.. Surprised to read them get good write ups on here. Maybe I should have seen them live
zero000
In fairness they got stuck in with the likes of Pigeon Detectives, The Fratellis et al, but they were a much more interesting band. Their first record was great, second gash and the third and fourth are fairly decent.
Gucci Piggy
So good live, too. Saw them at Leeds Academy in 2012 and it was an absolute riot. Sort of saw them at Werchter 13 as well but missed the start because of The National and spent most of the set trying to force my way into the tent. Still good, though. Gah that run of Biffy > The National > Blog Party > Sigur Rós > The Bloody Beetroots was so tasty.
