ONWARDS TO PAGE 2000! YES!

Although I think it's sorted everyone :Dhttps://twitter.com/beanstoast/status/610926291949371392

In all seriousness it would be a pretty damning (albeit maybe unintentional) statement not to bump Florence unless she has reasons not to step up. Remember Emily's words at the NME awards "she's not headlining but she could" - prophetic if you ask me.

I think the real issue is finding someone to fill 2.5 hours. Although it wouldn't take much shuffling to sort out I guess. Also in looking at options for a bump to the Pyramid I noticed Everything Everything have a criminally short set.

Edit: unable to use new twitter thing so hyperlinked

Talk is cheap. We already know the initial Sunday headliner didn't work out and they still looked elsewhere. Edited by ltfckimbo

Stick mothership on the pyramid and let everyone fucking party.

Nah, I'm guessing flo won't want to headline after a bump up as it lessens the moment of her headlining when it does happen. So a new replacement will come in, the obvious ones are albarn or Martin to 'rescue' the festival... What ever happened to that supergroup??

Weirdly this has got me quite excited.. And I like the foos

Florence could not fill 150 minutes. The sit says a new headliner. Glastonbury set a precedent for booking replacements, rather than bumping up sub-headline bands.

Only prince could fill a 2hr 30 minute set slot. It would suit him down to the ground. Last minute. Saviour of Glastonbury.

There's some unsafe assumptions being made here. Who's to say the replacement has to have 2:30? There's no reason why the times can't be shuffled around as appropriate.

As for there being some kind of "precedent" in not bumping up acts? Bollocks. There's just as much precedent of acts being bumped up as there is for replacements being found - Basement Jaxx were bumped up in 2005 to replace Kylie, people have already mentioned Ash being bumped up previously.
