Spoke to coldplay last night they said they are deffo not playing as it was too soon since they last played. Pushed them saying that Emily would tell them to deny it if anyone asked but they said no really not playing next year.

Was at the art show for their album art, spoke to some other "celebs" as well but nothing Glasto related.

Very unlikely, they're not going to play lower down the bill if at Glastonbury if they're headlining IOW

Except that's exactly what they did in 2009 .

That's not to say I think it's likely to actually happen, though - I reckon they'll restrict themselves to headlining the festivals they can until they see if the new album does well enough for them to get back to that level at the real heavy hitters.

Yep. They work great indoors but massive stages swallow them up. Music for mums these days.

Tbf, the black keys were a lot better when they actually were a guitar 'n' drums combo.

Yeah, they have become increasingly over-produced as the years have gone by, but they seem happy with the direction they're going in

I saw The Black Keys at a Euro fest in the summer and they smashed it (I wasn't much of a fan before). Co-headline at I.O.W is about right though

It's not as if they were making a loss before - they've just decided to make more money by going more commercial. Wouldn't go as far to say they're selling out but hearing of a new Black Keys albums doesn't get me excited anymore.

Lonely Boy & Gold On The Ceiling used to be used by Virgin as some of the boarding music, I honestly had never heard of BK before I got sick of the songs & googled them.

Bought Al Camino on vinyl in LA though. Rubbish.
