Before? Off the top of my head, NKOTB were hated by all but a small number of pre-teen girls. Bros were the punchline to countless jokes. Neither were around for as long as Take That, but both achieved as much if not more derision in their time. I'm sure that someone older than me can come up with some earlier examples.

Since? The members of Hearsay complained of people constantly shouting abuse at them in the street - something that I don't think even Take That managed.

mmm think it's time for her to grow up musically. She's been doing this shit for decades now and is still desperately trying to cling on to her youth. Look at the album cover ffs, as if she still looks like that! Getting down with the likes of Aviici and Minaj, clinging on to whoever is current at the time. I agree. The new songs have restored my faith, she hasn't gone down the route I'd have liked but they're a definite improvement on her last two albums.

Still not sure she'll be at Glastonbury. But she's certainly the biggest name left that they could book. (In fact, she'd be their biggest headliner ever based on sales.)

Dunno about anyone else but I'd only heard that half her album had leaked because she made a big fuss about it herself, whereas if some scrap of paper purportedly containing Rihanna's or Kanye's tracklist leaks it's fucking everywhere. Still, that might just be down to my choice of media or whatever.

The one with Nicki Minaj is pretty terrible. Living For Love is alright, in a completely forgettable, generic kind of way. Devil Pray is better. Ghosttown is quite nice. Unapologetic Bitch is what I believe the cool kids call a 'banger'. Illuminati...no, a bit silly, this.

Pretty decent. Certainly worth seeing in-between Like A Prayer, Like A Virgin etc.

I don't think it's slanderous to say she's not as big as she was. That isn't to say she isn't still big, but she used to be huge and it appears the last handful of her songs are the worst charting to date. Probably why she's hiring current stars to associate with her music. Still doesn't mean she'd be a bad booking or anything, just I don't know if she'd be the biggest booking they could make now and Glastonbury would be more likely now to dismiss the idea of booking her.
