Remarkable what a bit of hype can do though. The Roses went from playing mid sized venues to headlining everything just by going on the missing list for 20 years.

I would probably go and watch BEP if they were on although there does not seem to be any enthusiasm for them by the looks of it.

I'd prefer Fergie's solo stuff tbh, not that I'd ever listen to it just that it hurts the ears a lot less. That Dirty Dancing song BEP covered the other year was just abysmal and wouldn't leave me alone

(I like their early singles off Elephunt/Monkey Business though)

I would have thought Bruno Mars could headline if he's around? I think he did a pretty big arena tour for his last album, so could on the next tour, especially with the Ronson song getting him back in the public eye

Bruno Mars could play the Beyoncé slot if album three takes off but I doubt he would. BEP won't play at all after being away so long. it isn't even a proper reunion, just some tracks commemorating their anniversary., though finding out they once played West Holts amused me, you'd have thought they were as mainstream Pyramid fodder as it gets

There are two particular west country farmers who had enough of a fondness of those public school boys from London that they let them headline their festival!

Although, doesn't the act's touring schedule have more of a say in what day they play than the efests conspiracy theories? I'm sure Michael likes to please the locals, but he's not telling Mick and Keith that they can have Sunday or nothing. Beyonce is a popular, mainstream artist, but if you'd given the locals a choice between her and U2, they'd probably have gone for U2.
