Paddy Power recently opened a book on who will headline on Saturday night. Odds are as follows:

Foo Fighters 5/4

AC/DC 4/1

The Who 8/1

Prince 8/1

Libertines 8/1

Kate Bush 8/1

Fleetwood Mac 10/1

Depeche Mode 10/1

Oasis 12/1

Queen 12/1

David Bowie 12/1

Noel Gallagher 16/1

Coldplay 16/1

Guns & Roses 20/1

Radiohead 20/1

Limp Bizkit 20/1

Rihanna 25/1

Red Hot Chili Peppers 25/1

The Stone Roses 25/1

I think AC/DC are the value bet at 4s as can see Foo Fighters playing Friday night.

Just need Neil or Scott to come good with some inside info and make us all some money.....

Why is there no Florence on that list? I would bet on that fo sho!

Limp Bizkit...........

Yeah many of those quoted have little or no realistic chance of playing, Limp Bizkit and Guns n Roses (current line up) would be under no chance as they are simply not big enough and IMO there is little chance of Prince, Fleetwood Mac, Bowie, Oasis or Queen playing.

It says others on request, I would expect Flo to be around 33/1.

Also, that is a pretty high slot for an act which is far more popular in the UK than the US.

If FATM are subbing Coachella, there's surely only one way its going for Glastonbury?

yep, that would be my thinking too.

albums have done better here than over there, and if she's subbing Coachella, then unless there's 3 big Glastonbury headliners, I can't see her only subbing here too.

... I have one question... why is everyone so sure Elton John would be one of the headliners, I mean, I understand the Foo Fighters think, new álbum out there, lot of festival alredy confirmed, a big gap on Glasto weekend... but Elton?

Said that, seeing Coachella and believeing the rumours my educated guess would be:

Foo's

AC/DC

Elton John

He's playing shows around the time, fits the "British but the band aren't" (or whatever it was) quote, and fits the "been around a long time" quote.

If AC/DC do headline then most of the above reasons can be discounted because they apply to AC/DC as well. So if AC/DC headline I don't think Elton will.

Florence, Foos and AC/DC or Elton I say.

AC/DC definitely fit the 'British but band aren't' thing a lot more than Elton. would be a bit of a vague hint at Elton if it was about him.

Foos, AC/DC, Florence is my current guess. Florence definitely fits the recent trend of Sunday headliners, and what with her popping up in high positions on American lineups a headline spot probably isn't out of the question (especially with two very strong headliners in Foos and AC/DC)

Florence+Machine can't headline yet surely? I kinda feel they have to do Reading or V first. Still seems like a bit way off but who knows how well their new album will do. I don't know where Elton John is coming from. I think Foos are a given and AC/DC very well might do it, feeling solo female singer for the last one.

Foo Fighters

AC/DC

Adele/Taylor Swift/Kate Bush/Madonna?
