Grateful Dead are playn Chicago on July 3-5 for a farewell concerts. If I'm not wrong, Eavis said somewhere he would like them to play glasto. Is that a possible headline? I'm not into them, anyway

I do think that the Grateful Dead are such fun despite the fact that I know one song (Uncle John's Band). I do understand that Eavis does really like them, but it unfortunately doesn't look like they'll venture out of the United States of America.

Aye read that yesterday, they've only ever played it 5 times in their history I think one of the other times was in Fabric

nah, they've played loads of times. used to play clubs and venues all over the UK back in the 90s.

That Foo Fighters setlist makes no sense, a band of Foo Fighters size playing that many covers and only 2 songs from the new album is ridiculous, I can't see them doing that at Wembley

They played three off the new album and had a fourth on the setlist but had to cut it. For an album with only 8 tracks on it that's not as outlandish as everyone is making out.

They've played the UK plenty of times, just not so much since the first album.

I was about to make a sarcastic comment about that being the aspect of that poster you picked up on, but then I thought "He's right, that is the most notable thing about that poster." £1.50 doubles! We're being robbed!

I don't think that's what it says. I think it means £1.50 beers and discount doubles. As in doubles have an unspecified discount, which sounds more realistic.

I generally can't remember, the only trebles bar I've been to is one called Gotham City or something and I was amazed by the prices and my friend who lives there mentioned this other place that does 3 trebles and a jagerbomb for a fiver
