There is loads of fun to be had in the evenings away from the SE Corner, or alternatively all you have to do is find a bar thats going until 2am, and then you can stroll into it after the crowds have gone.

I think in the last 5 years I have only watched 2 headline sets on the Pyramid, for me, the headliners are the middle point of the evening, all the real fun happens much later on.

its interesting how the headliners of the festival can impact your weekend on the whole. my first glasto in 2013 we only bothered to make a big effort to see public enemy on west holts wasnt bothered about the stones, monkeys and definitly not mumford so we spent a lot of time in shang ri la arriving earlier then most each night and enjoying it in full taking advanatage of the lack of lines, people before the herd showed up and we had some wicked nights out as a result

last year completly different experience, really made an effort to see the headliners as it was bands I was really into as a fan, espcially metallica that 3 hours camped in front of the pyramid was worth it to be almost front row centre for one of my favouite bands of all time(best gig moment ever) but it also meant we never got to the nightlife areas till late every night and didnt really get to do much or enjoy it as far far to many people and crushes to get anywhere or do anything of note(after metallica we literally couldnt even get to the southeast corner when we tried....just gave up and had a mini party back at the tents....far to many people going one route to get to one location)

so decent headliners can be a blessing and a curse....if its someone your not bothered about you get more time to fully take in the southeast corner before it gets to crowded and if it is someone you really want to see then youve had an awesome gig memory but you probably wont have as good a night afterwards.

me personally? out of all the suggestions so far im hoping for the rockier ones, foos, ac/dc would do nicly....taylor swift? not so much! thatd definitly be a shang ri la evening haha

you know there's more than 1 stage, right?

great bit of know-nothing spurious bullshit from the line of best fit

(that's the approach we've got to take, while all the time hoping and praying desperately, right?)

Really? We had no problem at all getting into SE corner on Saturday night. Then again we had to fight our way through the Arcadia crowd to get back to our tent after Mogwai, so maybe by the time we set off the initial rush had died down.
