Is a combination of U2, Coldplay and Beyoncé not also two stadium sellers and a hugely mainstream act? Agree about doubting Taylor, but that's just because I'm a pessimist :P

It is but in Matt42's head he knows everything and his opinion is better than everyone elses - and if he is ignored he simply posts the same again.

Given the names that have been rumoured in this thread, I'm actually relieved that one of my favourite live bands are headlining, even if it is a bit soon and the last album was dull (at best). Always good to have a big set to look forward to - was still hoping for Radiohead, or even Libertines/Muse.

Can see the Sunday being:

Coldplay

Taylor Swift

The Vaccines

Lionel Richie

Taylor Swift subbing either Coldplay or the ??? act.

If Beyonce can sub Coldplay at TitP & headline Glasto the same year this could happen.

I'd love it if she was headlining, it'll up the excitement somewhat & those lesbians who write the Bizarre pages in The Sun will be frothing downstairs over it & no doubt will mention something about Gwenny.

I think The Prodigy to headline (most likely the other stage) is a good shout.

Headlining Benicassim and there's been matches in the lineups past few years..

'14 Kasabian headlined both

'13 Arctics headlined both

'11 Streets headlined beni and the other stage I believe

Minor detail, but I believe The Streets played John Peel in '11. Beyoncé was on pyramid and I was at other watching Queens of the Stone Age. I was a bit gutted they clashed with The Streets.

Noel Gallagher's seems to get on with Chris Martin, surprisingly. Seeing as he's only available on the Sunday I could see a top 2 of Coldplay and Noel, with Swift being nowhere in sight.

I definitely can't see Noel taking anything less than headliner now he's got the Calling gig

Anyone who thinks The Bends is Radiohead's best album doesn't really like Radiohead.

Probably the most pretentious comment I've seen on this forum. Good going when you consider the competition sometimes.

It's possible to admire their harder, less immediate stuff and still love the tunes.

Oh definitely, and deliberately so. I considered linking this video, but thought that might be overplaying it:

But thought I'd play it straight. I'm still right though aren't I? ;)
