Nope, Cat stevens, hammersmith apollo, Tuesday 4th November 2014.

Sunday legends slot i would have thought?

IF they can persuade him to do it, IF they even bother trying.

A few years back Emily put in heaps of effort to try and win him round and they thought they were going to succeed, but then Yusaf decided he didn't want the spotlight on himself quite so much at the time.

Things might have changed, because at least some of that was related to his religion and how it's become the object of hate to many in the west in more-recent years, and how he had personally been dragged into some of that. I can't imagine it was fun for him.

As much as I love prince, there's no way he's got his act together to be thinking that far in advance, though id love it so much

I don't know, this new record deal seems to have got him organised a bit. Two new albums announced as in advance as anyone announces new albums for example.

He is. He based the naming of his band on them.

Jake Bugg was 'gutted' to miss Metallica, means nowt.

Can't see Sabbath at all just for the BBC demographic view they have to keep.

Metallica?

Average man on the street recognises Ozzy Osbourne's name an hour before James Hetfield's.

how big was their crowd at West Holts this year?

How popular was a youth-orientated electronic-dance headliner on West Holts against a dance headliner on the Other, an electronic headliner on the Park, and a youth-orientated headliner on the Pyramid? All of those headliners (possibly except Kasabian) were going to be hit by the clashes, Disclosure aren't suddenly unpopular.

Oh god, just when I'd avoided the Glastonbury hype train and kept the nerves down before T-day for the first time since I've been going, Yusuf/Cat Stevens name has to be dropped into the equation.

I don't know if anyone is above him on my 'must-see' list. Now that there's a remote possibility he could play, not getting tickets is not an option!

Still waiting for the coldplay rumours to start even though they said they wouldnt tour this album.

It's not beyond the realms of possibility that they could do a 'Greatest Hits' tour next year, seeing as it was ridiculously hard to get tickets for their last tour so in theory there are plenty of people who'd still like to see them.

i wouldn't mind seeing them at glastonbury, seen them 3 times now though so i'd rather see someone play who i haven't seen before but if they were to headline i wouldn't be too disappointed

Coldplay have a new album and stadium tour next year apparently, might be meeting them in a couple of months if I do I will ask them about Glasto and report back.

What about Madonna or Kylie doing a greatest hits set plus new album they out. I know Kylie has missed one headline slot but not sure if Madonna has ever been in the frame? Neither of them massive now but got a big enough back catalogue to put on a show.

If Melvin was here it would be screaming for a co-headline

Disclosure got a decent crowd at Bestival but to be fair the biggest act they was against was Temples who started 20 minutes later so not quite the same :P

Anyway surely they would be doing another album before coming back to Glastonbury to headline the Other? Which would give them a bit more time to grow etc. (I'm no fan btw, was bored shitless at Bestival in the 20 minutes I saw of them, well apart from Ed from Friendly Fires coming onto dance and sing.)

We wandered off halfway through Disclosure to go and see the Peatbog Faeries in the Avalon Tent - who were bringing the party in a way that Disclosure weren't even close to managing.

I've never been so disappointed in the youth of today and their musics.

the drugs* of today and how they seem fashionable when mixed with Disclosure.

i was absolutely off my cake during Disclosure and even i couldn't get into it. i was pretty far back which didn't help and was still nursing off the dregs of a hangover, but nothing seemed to click. i'm sure it would've been better up front and in the midst of it all but middle / back nobody seemed that into it

although come the next album i definitely see them headlining Other. bet they've signed on to do it already

I'm not knocking people being off their cake, it's just the manor they do it and the reasons they do it. Taking M-Kat to fit in and i'd say Disclosure are the artist for that ever increasing group of people.

I don't believe motivations for taking drugs have changed. They do it because their mates do and they think it's good.
