mattgimmeshelter
She has a new album next summer, her live performance wouldn't work on the pyramid.

mrtourette
Yeah Matt seems to be posting using both accounts at the moment. Neither is making any sense.

Frankly Mr Shankly
Foo Fighters Morrissey Fleetwood Mac Florence + The Machine Rihanna Outkast I doubt Outkast will still be touring next year. The tour was to celebrate their anniversary & they've made it clear they have no plans to record anything new any time soon. Besides, Andre looks increasingly more bored on stage as the tour roles on, so I doubt he'll be in a hurry to extend it into next year. Morrissey would be much better suited to headlining the Other stage. His set in 2011 proved that.

Neither is making any sense. I'l explain this once, so I don't have to explain again my phone is logged into mattgimmieshelter, but my computer is logged into Matt42, I was at work on a break and posted that response from my phone - which means it posted on the mattgimmieshelter account which I don't want to use anyway why do you really care? His set in 2011 proved that. yeah Andre really didn't look like he wanted to be there when i saw him. i assumed it was because the crowd was awful but it seems to be the general opinion from most gigs. shame i'd never thought of Morrissey being anywhere other than Pyramid tbh. he'd make a brilliant Other headliner, but i can't see it ever happening

I think it would suit him much better, he was evidently not pleased with his slot last time he subbed the Pyramid...

I think it would suit him much better, he was evidently not pleased with his slot last time he subbed the Pyramid... he just strikes me as a Pyramid act through and through. doomed to sub at festivals and never step up as headliner. i can't really describe it but if he returns, it'll be as a sub again (and as dental said, he's definitely only ever been on the Pyramid before -as a sub no less)

If he is, he's daft. He aint getting any bigger than he is right now, if anything he's going to decline in popularity the more he ages. not worthy
maybe just me.....after the first few years of going the pull of the Pyramid seems to have lessened for headliners. I think the last few years I've only wanted to see 1 Pyramid headliner, to start with it felt like a must to be there for all. for me - James and/or Placebo headlining the Other would be a joy and keep me away from the Pyramid again
FloorFiller
not a chance Placebo would headline the Other these days. third down i reckon Edited September 18, 2014 by FloorFiller

LondonTom
anyway why do you really care? We need to know where to direct down votes to? yeah Andre really didn't look like he wanted to be there when i saw him. i assumed it was because the crowd was awful but it seems to be the general opinion from most gigs. shame It was weird for sure, at Bestival it wasn't so much he didn't want to be there.....he just didn't seem to be there "with" Big Boi as such! A bit weird for sure ....was great though. Not something I feel the need to see again but if they did manage to keep touring, they would make a great Other Stage headliner for those who haven't seen the eyt. Don't think the show would really suit subbing the Pyramid tbh. Edited September 18, 2014 by LondonTom
Barefooted_raver
Aren't The Kinks way bigger than that? Or would they not really suit on the Other stage. Either way I can't see them playing. For me those acts would bore me to death to be quite honest. I would agree with you on some of those to be fair. I only said that they were names I would bet on appearing at the festival; not necessarily my own dream list. I picked them on the basis of people like Noel showing his face at the farm this year, Fleetwood Mac looking to make the recovery, Calvin Harris unfortunately paving the way to fill a Skrillex type slot etc... I am sure that I read somewhere that The Kinks were looking to get stuck back into some live shows? 50 year anniversary and 'Essential Kinks' being released next month... Other Stage Headliners or Sunday Legends?...Either way, I could see them playing Glastonbury in the next few years if they can avoid stabbing each other with forks.. Homer
Really can't see The Kinks on the Other Stage. Can't think of any heritage act that's been on there. Pet Shop Boys is the oldest headliner I can personally think of.
Purple aki squat
I just hope no mad rumours start in the next fortnight, keep the stress down for ticket day. My guess is Coldplay Fleetwood Mac Killers Yawn.
