Until the line-ups for the other European ones which are around the same time (Southside/Northside, Hurricane, Best Kept Secret etc.) are released, it's quite hard to tell which acts' appearances on that list are significant.

I'd be surprised if Coldplay started with festivals in March and then did a stadium tour in June, so Glastonbury may be a possibility.

On the other hand, they may miss it out completely, a la the Viva La Vida tour.

EDIT: I'm more excited about the presence of Kraftwerk personally :)

ColdPlay at Glasto again would be horrific awful and very very boring! A band who for me have played there last Glasto performance.

I agree it would be a beyond boring booking but how can you say they've played their last glasto?

Their good friends of the Eavis and a band with a backcatalogue that means they can headline the pyramid with ease whether you like it or not. Unless glasto doesnt come back after the fallow year they will headline again... its a fact.

Aren't most shows these days technically in 3D? 4 if you include time...

Well, you say that, I saw The Cure the other year and not only might I have been watching a still life drawing, every time I checked my watch, time didn't appear to have progressed at all.

I say that I would like the festival to move on from Coldplay.since that their new music is no where near as good as their old, it's not an exiting band to book into. Edited by willutalk

Make it happen, will. We all know you're clan Eavis. We all know it was you that got Metallica booked. Have a word with your uncle Mike.

No more Coldplay!

Other would be fantastic, are they still doing the whole 3D show thing? Cos if they are, I imagine there may be problems with doing that at Glastonbury.

The Chemical Brothers delivered a fairly visuals-heavy headline set on The Other in 2011. If you're the headline act you can bring more of your own gear, you don't just have to rely on the screens and a backdrop.
