If you look at some of the recent sets, Chems, Pet Shop Boys, Skrillex, or whatever, the other stage can increasingly cope with very advanced stagecraft. They just make it a closed set.

I still think the Other is too large for Kraftwerk. It's a different crowd, sure, but reports of their Slam tent show at TITP advise that it was - optimistically - only about a quarter full. They just don't mean that much to dem yoot.

Edit: Though the lack of screens at the Holts is an issue, I must admit.

With some of the acts being mentioned for the Headline slots I'd be more than happy with the Libertines on the Other Stage. I thought they may have been a surprise act this year seeing as they had got back together fairly quickly before their Hyde Park gig.

A family member of mine works for one of the promoters....2 of the 3 headliners are booked - one old school act ahem FM and one to be touring act for the friday night ahem CP, the sunday night is likely to either be Foo's, a rapper or big female popstar

Were they talking about Rock Am Ring?

Are The Libertines likely? They were on top form at Alexandra Palace and were really tight. Other headline seems the best fit really?

Well they'll follow the money and if one festival ties them down to headline for a million or two they probably won't end up at Glastonbury. The only thing preventing them from headlining R+L four years ago was that nobody knew if they'd actually stay together until the festival.

Touring act for the Friday would be Muse I reckon

Odd's are out on william hill for headliners. Fleetwood Mac at 4/1!

Edit: It is for the Sunday headliners.

Looking at the list - who is putting money on Elbow at 16/1, Arctic Monkeys at 20/1, or Robert Plant at 25/1? I mean you may as well throw it down a well.

The Ladbrokes one is even stupider though. Don't everyone rush at once to make a tasty profit on that 5/1 Royal Blood to headline bet...

EDIT: Or The Smiths at 4/1. Ahahahaha

I've just seen this. It's ridiculous. Royal Blood at 5/1 is hilarious.

To be fair, I wouldn't mind William Hill's predictions, FM, AC/DC and Muse is actually quite inviting for me, certainly diverse.

I would rather have Foos over AC/DC as classic rock doesn't really do it for me.

Still, it's annoying they've released these predictions now...wasn't at all by coincidence.......
