Foo's, Kanye and Blur would be strong.

Yeah Foo's have headlined everywhere but this is their first Glasto headline - it would be a big deal.

Kanye would just be mindblowing - I'm a massive fan.

Blur, to me, is the weakest booking (as they headlined 2009) however they are still a solid act.

If that were the line up, I'd be intrigued to see the Other stage and West Holts headliners.

There's so little news that why not acknowledge what happens with the bookies?

I'd say that Kanye being suspended for the saturday probably means a lot of big bets. If people are making big bets it's probably in confidence.

the amount of betting they're taking on an act before closing the betting is tiny in normal betting terms.

Don't forget, they need a proper market with all these bets - which means bets going on all sorts of bands, and not just one or two. It's because a chunk of money tends to go on just one band at any point in time that they have to keep shutting the betting off.

I'd be disappointed if we didn't reach 1000 pages before the announcement of the headliners.

And I'd like them to be underwhelming headliners too, so that the thread then reaches 2000 pages on announcement day.

I'll just point out that while I've had a couple of weakish things to suggest Kanye (a while ago now and i've mentioned them before, they aren't new ones), I've also had something else - stronger - which suggests that it's not.

None of these things are really meaningful by themselves anyway - but I just wanted to put out there that everything is not in one direction.

Personally - from nothing but a hunch - I don't think it'll be Kanye. It's looking like we'll perhaps only get to find out when they announce.

interesting. in my mind Kanye is nailed on, but that's only because there's barely anybody left who it could be (that seems realistic). if not him, Blur and Swift it is imo (although a part of me is starting to really think that a Prince / Madonna esque surprise could be coming out way - at first it was just wishful thinking, but now i'm starting to believe in these wild theories)

i know it's not great business for this site but congrats to the organisers for finally managing to keep it so hushed this year

Not sure I'd even want Madonna to do it to be honest. If she messed up at Glasto it'd probably see her walk off into the sunset once and for all, and I'm quite enjoying watching her come up with ever more ridiculous ways of keeping herself in the limelight at the moment.
