Kylie's ship has sailed. Her album and gig sales both performed pretty poorly, and in a year where Kaiser Chiefs have received a shot in the arm from Ricky Wilson doing The Voice as well. I think she'd be (so) lucky to sub nowadays.

They was excellent, and did stuff like the TCT show and secret slot Glastonbury so it did seem less about just the money and more about finishing off on a better note than they had left it.

I really don't believe Pulp were grabbing the money and running. The shows they did weren't that big anyway - aside from Hyde Park and Sheffield Arena.

Love how the band with the working class background are always in it for the money, while the broadsheet darlings are there for the love of the art.

I’m not saying the Roses weren’t chasing the dollar, but I’d certainly argue that Pulp were doing it for the love.
