I don't think of it as a cutting edge booking and I don't follow him but I'm an old skool hip hopper and I like that rap can get, quite rightly in my view, a headline slot at Glastonbury. I'm tempted to watch him but will see who else is on at the time. I quite enjoy his massive crazy ego too, so it will be interesting to see what he does with that!

Pleased with this booking, as it someone different that I've never seen before who is sure to put on a 'memorable' performance. Also has a strong back catalogue of songs to fall back on and will create a buzz. +1 for glastonbury.

Just been looking at the Glastonbury facebook page. A lot of people whinging and crying on there. Their precious little lives now ruined by Kayne West headlining Glastonbury. What I find most interesting is the complaints about his ego. Personally I love a bit of mad ego with singers, rappers, musicians sometimes. He is a bit of a nob but he does it with style. Getting more and more tempted to watch him now (depending on what else is on)

I think that's a brilliant headliner. Never sure how well hip hop comes across live (maybe I've seen the wrong people) but certainly think it will be interesting. I love Foo's and am incredibly happy they are headlining but you know what ur gonna get with them. With Kanye...it could be anything. Nice mix
