I'm surprised they've decided to go with Kanye but if they think he's worth it then it's their call. I think it's a dreadful booking but i know people like him so I can see why but the announcements gone down worse than Metallica, so plenty of chances for anyone hoping to get a resale ticket by the sound it

Beatles, Stones, The Who, Queen, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Oasis, Duran Duran, One Direction, Elton John, Status Quo, Bee Gees, thats just to name a handful of the best selling artists of the last 50 years

For a small island, when compared with the sheer size of America, i would say like for like we have dominated the last 50 years

I've always thought the Bee Gees were American, not quite sure why.

Not impressed with the Kanye news, an up himself gobshite, but great news for people after tickets in the resale

A British festival, an iconic festival, and the 3 headliners are almost certainly yanks? That is pathetic, surely they could find a British act to headline, christ we almost dominate world music this last 50 years

In the words of Duncan Bannatyne, "i'm out"

Will try again for 2016 as really want to do a glasto, but an ageing rock band, a gangsta rapper who dates the most annoying woman in the world, and a bubblegum pop artist most famous for shagging Harry Styles just does not do it for me

You're an odd fellow.

Have Suede been discussed yet? They've just announced a date near me on 25th June which could throw them in the mix, no?

Perhaps they better suit Other headliner, rather than Pyramid though.

JP headliner or other sub i think, they arent bigger than the manics who subbed other last year

But they're Australian, soooo

My best mate was born in London, but moved to Dubai when he was 7 due to his dad getting a job there, for last 24 years he has lived in Dubai, does that make him an arab? No course not, so AC/DC can be classed as British, or dual

Are the Bee Gees not from Salford? I'm 85% sure that one of my teachers in my primary school used to claim he had taught them when they were there. This is shaking my faith in all I know.

He was a bullshitter, now I think of it, he had me convinced the PE cupboard was haunted by a boggart.

the music from this island has been utter shit for the last 20 years at least.

we dominated the 60s and 70s, but that was a loooooong time ago. If you think anyone gave a shit about "britpop" then think again. Did oasis sell a single record in america?

The last "dominating" band the uk produced was radiohead.

Britannia doesnt rule the waves anymore either!
