Yes but they are current and relavant, Rock or Bust was a number 1 album in dozens of countries, the tour has sold out everywhere, so although they are old they are young at heart

Foo Fighters while having a strong loyal niche fanbase have and have had nothing like the success that AC/DC have had, yes they sell out stadiums with their fanbase but they dont sell albums anywhere near AC/DC do

I'd say that, to be considered a gangsta rapper, you'd need to rap about gangsta activities (drug dealing, popping caps in asses etc.)

I've been trying to think of Kanye lyrics that could be considered gangsta and the only one I can think of is "trunk full of coke, rental car from Avis" in Jesus Walks, but even that is primarily about how he doesn't do that anymore

they had a good album 30 odd years ago and have repeated the formula to ever decreasing returns ever since, propping it up with stadium shows full of mysoginistic imagery while a guy of pensionable age dicks about in a school uniform. this, in a post yewtree world.
