Well, last year it was Metallica that people were bothered with, or that bloke who owns his own railway and airplanes complaining it was too middle class. There are some people who just plain like to find an excuse to belittle the festival every year.

Does anybody think One Direction will headline in the future? If rock/rap/metal acts are given a chance then why not the biggest pop band on the earth?

Obviously by no means do I want them within 100000 miles of the festival... But just wondering if they would ever be considered?

X Factor acts don't play.

Kanye petition reaches 28,000. That's pathetic that people have signed that

The thing that upsets me the most about this petition (along with the bloody clarkson one) is that they have degraded the impact that actual thoughtful petitions will now have. One of the only vehicles for change that is available to the public has been ruined by the public

In all seriousness, who gives a fuck about these people?

The vast majority won't have a ticket, and those that do are the kind of people you will easily avoid when there.

Not worth your time giving credence to their views.

It's like those people on the FB page saying 'I'm so glad I don't have a ticket.'

Of course you are

people often find the concept of you going to a festival and not watching the headliners difficult to take

So you don't agree then?

I agree that the crowd got him through here, I was much closer at Coachella so for me I was with all the English fans and the odd American right at the front that cared so I was able to hear his vocals alright and the musician side isn't an issue either. I got some footage but they don't like any video's over there.

I reconsider...didn't realise they were from X factor

they aren't... they are tax-dodging Tories who've said publically that Glasto HQ won't answer their desperate requests to play though.

Rowetta did, though before X factor and as part of a group.

:good:

wouldnt be surprised if Ella Henderson turned up one day, although I'd hope the Eavii see through this myth about her writing all her own stuff (she didn't even write her second single).

And labour weren't? Bank bonuses, obscenely high ones, occured under Labour, plus Labour deregulated the banks, they were in the bankers pockets far more than we are

The NHS was shit under labour too, who bought in league tables thus encouraging trusts to bend the rules to climb higher up the tables? and speaking of NHS the scandals of Staffordshire and Wales happened under labour

Then there is selling off our gold at a fraction of cost, the tens of billions wasted on the NHS and immigration computers that didnt work, the illegal invasion of a country that as a result set our reputation back decades and caused 7/7 and 21/7

But hey if it floats your boat carry on pretending labour were competent ;)

When did I mention Labour kind sir!? Please be kind enough to read posts fully before replying. Thank you.

There's only two schools of political thought, obviously. Just like there's either the Pyramid Stage or gross portaloos at Glastonbury. You're either Labour or you're Tory, you're either a Kanye fan or a real music lover throwing their ticket back into the pot.
