Purple aki squat
I was in London when she had that infamous interview with LBC, to say it was the worst and most cringeworthy political interview i have ever heard is an understatement, she has set the greens back years, i dont like the greens as have no desire to pay extra taxes in carbon taxes and have billions spent on windfarms, i want to see better roads, more trains, shorter waiting times to see a GP, tax cuts, the greens do nothing for me. Osborne has done a brilliant job, turning the country around from a mess to a booming global giant. Where i live, a middle class but not super prosperous area, 2 or 3 years ago i could walk into local restaurants on the day, now i have to book well in advance, sometimes 2-3 weeks ahead, shops are heaving with customers, every other car is a 2014 plate, things in this country are awesome right now. The tories are the only party to leave more money in peoples pockets Absolute bollocks. Things are so awesome that food banks are over run. jonodillieono
Its obviously true they wont get a PM at the next election, or even more than 5 seats, but its disappointing that media perception leads to them being belittled by this oft-used phrase. I reckon with a great leader, Natalie is just trying to be another politician and is really bad at it (i do like her views though), the biggest left wing party in England could actually be taken seriously. No left wing parties are taken seriously

BonScott
Absolute bollocks. Things are so awesome that food banks are over run. A large number of foodbank users would not need a foodbank if a) they did what was agreed with their JCP advisor and kept to their job application quotas and attended interviews, then they would not get sanctioned and would not need a foodbank or didn't waste their money on non essentials like big tv's, sky HD, drink, cigarettes, gambling etc, then they would have enough money for food It is impossible to deny a and b exist, i know more than 1 person in each catergory, everyone does near enough If it was down to me foodbanks would be banned for everyone except people who have passed a strict means test and have passed a home inspection to see there is no Sky, big tv, iphone, beer cans, cigarettes etc
sime
Indeed but in my lifetime and yours only the tories or labour will supply the PM, none of the tree hugging greens and lib dems or the BNP in suits (UKIP), will ever have a prime minister, so if you hate the tories and want them out presumably you accept a labour government Which is what you will get if we dont win in May My 'life' time is very different to yours and to everyone else's. If it takes a Labour government or two while voting with my heart for the planet via the Green party to maybe get to some politics where people and the planet come before a need to gain wealth and status then so be it. I realise that some of their policies are a bit extreme but it will in my view unfortunately take a few extreme ideas where we are taken out of our materialistic comfort zones and planet destroying ways to eventually move humanity forward into a cleaner and more caring future. I apologise if that does not make sense. However, It's my birthday so I think I'm allowed at least one boo boo. Anyways, Stargazing Live is about to start. Taraaa! I have no reason or ideas - I just hope it is P****** or Blur or a mega surprise that will have the serious WOW factor. Beyond that I really do not mind. Seriously this is the HEADLINERS THREAD - change the record. i have decided not to go in 2015 unless something amazing is announced before deadline day, seems unlikely sadly, but i intend to try again in 2016, i think there is a good chance AC/DC will do 2016 as they will still be touring, and who knows who else might turn up
