My problem with swift is that if they book her to appeal to the yoof, it just shows how out of touch they are. Are that many 18-25 year olds really into taylor sodding swift?? There much be better bands out there to appeal to the younger generation! I'd be insulted if I was that age.

And you are spot on about lionel bloody ritchie!! Horrific stuff.

Id say the Taylor Swift demo is a lot younger my daughter is 12 and loves her but nieces 18 & 20 don't

Yes, she's very big with that age group.

The Lionel Ritchie booking is an absolute joke. Shocking. I suppose after that pretty much anything seems left field.

It's annoying that the Legends Slot has become a 'thing' that they feel the need to fill every year. It works best when they can get a true legend who naturally fits the Sunday afternoon slot rather than trawling up any old 80's act to fill it.

Spot on, we're not exactly talking Brian Wilson or Johnny Cash these days.

The Lionel Ritchie booking will appeal massively to the crowd of people that dance to the Baywatch theme tune when out on the razz of a weekend.

Surely just about everyone would be unable to keep still if this dropped.

As the top comment on YouTube says "This piano solo is so great. I really like it. I also really like breasts, so I find this to be just a top notch video. "

Would find the Stone Roses to be quite underwhelming personally. Never got into them at all. Was listening to the Beastie Boys back then thanks to my brother and have never really got them since.

Think Suede were the first 'guitar band' I got in to. Will be great if they play Glastonbury. Wonder if we'll get McAlmont and Butler playing too seeing as they are touring.

May be nothing but new merchandise on stone roses online shop, not on sale until 20th April but you can order now.......

www.thestoneroses.shopbravado.co.uk

They are reissuing their debut album on vinyl on 14th April - probably explains the new merch and perhaps also suggests they don't have new material? Though I guess it could also suggest they are reissuing to coincide with a Glastonbury announcement?

Probably clutching at straws...

It will take time for the boom to cover the whole country, but, we have raised the tax threshold to 11k which means the poorest people and lowest earners are paying no tax at all, we have put up the minimum wage above inflation, so even the poorest are a lot better off than they were 5 years ago, the last government even scrapped the 10p rate for the poor making even the poorest pay 23p in tax, we are the party of the poor as well as the rich

"We"???

Fuck right off.

I swear that album is reissued every year.

Why is petitioning so fucking popular all of a sudden?

it's only popular if the cause is moronic - eg: Clarkson, or Kanye.

Less than 5,000 had signed Tom Watson's petition about Westminster child abuse last time I looked.

It's good that these facebook types are acting for what really matters, eh? ;)
