Purple aki squat
Fair play wasn't aware when he joined, one league cup winners medal definitely qualifies you as a legend then, glad the bar has been set so high! Maybe we should bring Anderson back over from Brazil he does a spot of djing if his Instagram is anything to go by, he's got more winners medals then most the Liverpool squad put together That's low. Don't make me go off mancs, I was getting excited by the Roses Rumour. Bebe come back.
djcolsen
Why, because Taylor's day at Hyde Park is sold out? Yes partly... But mainly Because it's a rediculous notion, reckons she would buy one off a tout and go to that instead, I told her it would be a rubbish idea....but then I don't understand, I was totally unaware she was so big, I thought she was mid afternoon slot at best, shows what I know

A Guy Called Matt
Mate what I meant was that Neil probably didn't even know the announcement was coming, since he said how he didn't think it was Kanye just before and then the site wasn't updated till much later. Hilarity - Matt42 telling me I missed the point. LMAO Kettle black pot calling
Harmonic Prospector
Do people believe there will be a lot of ticket returns based on the headliners? personally couldn't give a monkeys who headlines in my four years I've watched two headliners so my ratio isn't great, however the only recent year that's had low ticket sales was the jay z year, could this year be the same or has it moved on a lot since then? I know this has been spoken about a hell of a lot on this forum where blame for 2008 not selling out has been laid at the door of the Jay Z booking. But, I have always thought that probably the biggest reason for 2008 not selling out, which I don't think has ever been mentioned, is the fact that the global financial crisis had just taken hold and people were being far more cautious with their money. Spending £200 for a festival at a time when our High Streets were deserted due to lack of available credit and a tightening of purse strings across the board would have been seen by many at the time as an extravagance at such an uncertain time. I would say it most certainly contributed to it rather than blaming a booking of 1 artist.

The Nal
And the weather in 2007 was shit.. may have played a part I think thats the main reason. 04 was tough at times. Sunday was awful. 05 was obviously a mess and 07 was just horrid. Basically didn't stop raining. 3 Glastos like that in a row will make anybody think twice. eFestivals
its amazing what a triumph 2008 was really after all the issues, jay z certainly got them alot of press at leastthankfully this time around it's not going to be creating Michael a huge worry over tickets, as 2008 was back when they still sold all of the t5ickets in April. I'd hate him to go thru that again, it was clearly a big stress on him. There might be some who return tickets because of Kanye (tho I doubt the numbers will be huge), and they'll soon be snapped up. found home in 2009
And then the headliners in 09 and the weather in 2010 sealed the deal. weather in 2010 probably looked idyllic on tv but I found it unpleasant at times. JoeyT
2010 was very hot but would much rather take that than have any rain.
morph100
so who are our top guesses for Pop, Indie, Dance or any other genre for the Sunday? Pop - Taylor Swift, Madonna Indie - Blur, Stone Roses Dance - Daft Punk, Prodigy Personally, i'm thinking Taylor Swift is most likely, although it means no British headliner but they will be plenty of Brits high up on the bill to compensate. andyhh
2010 was ideal, even if you had to be out of your tent by 8am due to heat, would love another year like that!
morph100
Yeah the hot weather can get a bit much at times but at least you can sit down anywhere and run around without slipping over (much)

Untz
Nah, the best weather would be 2010 but about 4 degrees cooler or so. There were people sheltering in the shade of bins it was so unbearable at times.
