Just to throw this in again to see what you think,

The Killers have just been announced another festival date in the US on the 20th June and are doing Firefly on the 18th.

Surely they're likely to do more than 2 festival shows if they're bothering to come together away from their solo stuff?

I know Brandon Flowers has also just announced his solo shows and his Euro tour ends start of June so is unlikely to come back so soon to do festival shows and he hasn't been announced for any UK festivals at all. Maybe he is coming back with The Killers?

They haven't been rumored too much I don't think.

I think there is a rumour of some disagreement or unease between them and Michael from a long time ago but I've no idea how true this is.

Regardless, they haven't done much in the last 12 years to warrant that place now

No chance would they book RHCP and Foo Fighers in the same year. Leeds/Reading maybe .. But not Glastonbury.

Unless the next album see's them become as popular as they were almost 10 years ago, I doubt we'd see them at Glastonbury now, even if they are still big enough.

I'd be inclined to rule out Madonna, Kylie, Take That and Flo, purely going on what we know with your dates and info

Kanye West didn't real come from anywhere when he was first spoke of, so I don't see why at this point we should try and narrow it down to people who are our in tour

Not sure if there's been anything to rule them out, but their tour dates look vaguely appropriate.

The Eagles would probably be after a bit more money than Glasto normally offer for a headliner no? Can't see it myself. Would take them over most of those on that list of possibilities though ^^

The other stage has the least atmosphere on anywhere in the site, it's just a huge expanse of slightly dodgy-smelling grimness. The wind whistles acorss it and it feels like the end of civilisation. The relief when you get to the Glade, or up onto the railway line is palpable. On this occasion, and this occasion only, Richey Manic may have had a point.

Wo! i love The Other Stage when it's slightly raining, and i'm in front of the sound stage. one of the few stages with a continuous good view of the act that are playing. Sound is terrible when you're far back, but you probably aren't that interested in whoever is playing if you're that far back anyway.

So after about 25 pages today nothing has changed, glastonbury need to put us out of our misery
