willutalk
This is such an interesting year for headliners. Cannot wait to see who'll grace the Pyramid last on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Familiar2billions
ha nah, but now we are definitely going you know it's going to be florence and the machine, vaccines and katy perry or summat. Ah well I couldnt give a fuck. I was resigned to not going this year. It's a strange feeling. It's been a horrible week. I know the feeling fella. I missed out on a ticket last year so as a result my sister booked her wedding for Glastonbury weekend, come the resale all my mates got tickets so i would have been sorted! Due to all of that i was really crapping myself about not getting a ticket and missing out for a second year in a row... massive relief now however and Glastonbury 2015 will become Glastonbury# 5 for me! Essex_George
And yep Essex_George, I got a ticket luckily. It's a horrible thing really, knowing that so many poor sods missed out. I'm dreading seeing who of the regulars here missed out. I'm guessing that you got lucky too, if you're browsing this thread! Yes I was lucky this time, seems a lot of regulars on here not so lucky. JGP
Neil has said FM were penciled in for Friday night last year so would be again Oh I didn't realise, I thought they were pencilled in for the Sunday but that might be because that's what day the betting sites were taking bets on
HGavin
David Bowie Paul McCartney Kanye West Or swap either of them for Prince Queen + Adam Lambert Arctic Monkeys (again) I'm prepared to be disapointed.
monkey1989
I reckon we will find out one this year and that one will be ACDC so they get a buzz going and people buy there album
eFestivals
Oh I didn't realise, I thought they were pencilled in for the Sunday but that might be because that's what day the betting sites were taking bets onFM were definitely never Sunday. That had Prince pencilled in initially with Kasabian underneath. Prince then got moved - only as a 'pencilled in' - to Saturday because of contractual issues with Metallica being a headliner. When Prince wasn't doing it, the contractual issues were sorted out and Metallica were moved from Other Stage.
eFestivals
This Queen rumour.....Are Glastonbury going for them cos having a headliner that couldn't sell out Sonisphere worked so well this year? This Queen rumour is floating around, but from what I've been able to dig up around it, there doesn't appear to be anything to it. Thank god.I think it's newspapers filling pages. ghandi
I'd love the Who, though this has been quashed on here by those saying they'd probably do their own thing like Knebworth, but why not, surely the Eavis could persuade them? FM on one of the nights probably after what Mick Fleetwood said last year and perhaps Radiohead.
Ipayne
The Who, Fleetwood Mac & Radiohead would be a dream but I think we'd be lucky to get either Radiohead or The Who to be honest, probably not both though

Looks like it was the Daily Star just pullung it out of nowhere. A quick check of a Queen fansite seems to indicate that, after this European tour they're doing in Jan / Feb, Adam Lambert is going back to whatever it is he does when he's not doing Fred-aoke. Festival Liam
"Band who a ) is doing an arena tour/new album b ) is big c ) has not payed Glasto in last 5 years. If a ), b ) and c ) are true, stick rumour of Glasto headliner in paper on slow news day. If rumour = true, festival headliner guess kudos. If rumour = false, nobody's opinion of shit rag/website changes"The newspaper and gigwise method of headliner prediction. A quick check of a Queen fansite seems to indicate that, after this European tour they're doing in Jan / Feb, Adam Lambert is going back to whatever it is he does when he's not doing Fred-aoke. Wasn't it reported because their odds shifted from 20-1 to 16-1 or something. The belief that odds dictate the actual headliners is something that's annoying me, plus they were absolutely clueless for this year! MichaelDoyle
Neil, out of Muse and the Foo's, which rumour would you say has more substance to it?
Tdiz
My prediction is: Foo fighters for the Friday Fleetwood Mac for the Saturday Radiohead or Libertines for the Sunday

eFestivals
Neil, out of Muse and the Foo's, which rumour would you say has more substance to it?neither. They're both simply guesses based on nothing more than the bands expected to be 'active' next summer.
