Exactly how I feel, yet hearing this has made me think more positively about the chances of glastonbury.

Very average song there. IMO that confirms my preference of Muse over Foo Fighters as a near future Pyramid headliner. I feel that what ever Muse will produce it'll one, set me off with a definite opinion of the song (which suggests the strength of character of Muse's music ) and two, it'll somehow work well live and from what I'm hearing about the new Muse record The World War Three Theme makes it something to be reckoned with. Whereas this new Foo Fighters single definitely doesn't fo point one and probably won't do point two.

So am I, their tour schedule seems to be fitting round glastonbury very very well.

I know they are only confirmed for Rock Am Ring thus far, but it seems nailed on they are at Werchter... which is the same weekend as Glasto - and they could easily do the thursday at RW and the saturday night at glasto.

The shitter the Download lineup the better because I am doing A Levels.

"Polish things off" sounds like they've done quite a lot of it already. I know it's awfully quick to record an album but they have been writing the songs for like the last 6 months (I think I heard they started just after the coachella shows, it's the reason there never was a 20th anniversary tour) so maybe they've gotten the majority of it written and know what they're doing so are just recording it superfast... this is possible right?
