Bjork aside that is the most depressingly shite line up I've seen in a long time.

Me too. Reckon an arena tour late next year and festivals the following Summer.

I'm hoping they want to do Glastonbury "fresh" this time around, rather than in the middle of the European stadium/festival tour. Think they would be a lot better if its one of the first shows they do.

i'd definitely like them to do it before i'm bored to death of the songs (was definitely the case last time, and i wasn't fond of The Resistance in the first place which made it worse) but still think 2015 is too soon. i still don't see the album being ready in time tbh

I think it depends whether they are actually doing a stripped back album this time round like they said.. If they still have orchestras and stuff it likely won't be finished until half way into next year I reckon.

this is Muse we're talking about. of course there'll be orchestras and ridiculous levels of excess. as stripped back as the album is supposed to be i doubt they can go a whole album without having at least one big grandiose ridiculous song

True, what I meant is that overall there may be less going on in the music so would speed up the process unlike their usual albums. Several bands over the years have said their next album is going to be stripped back and then become the exact opposite so I have no faith in that sentence anymore :P

The Who have apparently had to reschedule their Irish dates from November to the 21st and 23rd of June because of unforeseen circumstances.

Really doubt they'd be back but just worth pointing out I suppose.

Is Pete's laptop in for repair again?
