I would absolutely love The Who to headline if possible, Don't like them enough to pay out £70+ for their own gig but would definitely not hesitate seeing them at a festival

can see Arctics becoming one of Glastonburys token 'we made you' headliners (like Coldplay and Muse) so reckon they'll be back in five / six years

I can still remember the time I realised Muse were an actual band people were into, and not an elaborate joke by my mates to torment my eardrums. I was genuinely surprised.

Sorry, was talking about sets I've seen on tv/online. Obviously I can't know what it was like to be there, but the performance itself didn't seem very good to me, and I know it went down pretty poorly on here.

Well maybe one day the cure and I will become friends; I did once see an interview with Smith and he seemed a good sort.

Let's say I'll stick them on the list for another listen somewhere down the line.

Yeah, I love all of those songs, but there’s plenty of stuff that bears very little relation. His voice is pretty ever present, though. I don’t think I’ve ever really been massively put off by a vocalist.

I'd rather them over the possible Adele-Foo-Fleetwood combo. I like Fleetwood and Adele will appeal to the masses but itll be a line up lacking some guts.

Well they were on about a new album (which has been written/recorded although Smith is changing some of the vocals) and a 'world tour' earlier this year but nothing has come of it as of yet.

I guess they are, but it's a long shot as they're hardly going to be high up on the list. Would be a dream though.

Aren't they currently tied for most amount of Pyramid headline slots?

isnt there a specific reason the cure havent done glastonbury so long, ie they fell out with michael, or criticised the festival or something?
