Well maybe one day the cure and I will become friends; I did once see an interview with Smith and he seemed a good sort.

Let's say I'll stick them on the list for another listen somewhere down the line.

Disintegration and this is the sea belonged to my best mates brother so heard them both as a 13 yr old, both have left an imprint on my musical taste.

Both highly recommended

Thanks. Just please never make me hear Friday I'm In Love ever again though.

I would imagine the majority of Cure fans would agree! (and i think Robert Smith only plays it as he has to!)

Disintegration / Pornography / Seventeen Seconds / Faith / Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me - job done! :)

Really? I thought the T2L tour was much better than anything on The Resistance tour.

Aside from the fucking closer, obviously.

T2L arena tour was bloody ace, and I went to the War Child gig at Shepherds Bush, so the stadium show was always going be a bit of a let down :P

It could have been I had become bored with them by that time but it just didn't hit me the usual places. I like overblown stage productions and overblown Muse...but it just felt to much, I just didn't really connect with it at all.

Apart from Guiding Light at Wembley for Resistance I thought it was ace.

I guess with Glastonbury, it was my first Glastonbury, one my favourite bands, I heard Citizen Erased for the first time live, I was 3 people from the front barrier. The Edge coming felt special and I get goose bumps everytime I watch it back.

(and yes, the closer! I used to be a big fan of Starlight but as a closer and that version?!)

I was gonna do a list, but it's a ball ache on my phone. But I'll mention A Forest, lullaby, boys don't cry and that one about cats.

Anything with his voice on really.

What are you talking about, lullaby is ace! Also this is ignoring From the edge of the Deep Green Sea, Wrong Number, One Hundred years...!

does he normally get things right??

He got leeds correct months before anyone else and he also got download before anyone else

Howeveerrr he did say nickelback originally which turned out to be wrong (he might of just said they were in talks though I can't remember). He doesn't bullshit but there's always the chance in the info being wrong.

He seems pretty confident that foos are headlining though so looks like its the foos

Not gonna sift through 110 pages so apologies if it was already mentioned!

Got an email from Bandsintown this morning, The Who are playing Dublin at the end of June, with the whole 50 year thing I reckon a Glastonbury slot could be very possible

Not liking The Cure is akin to war crimes in my book. And Friday I'm In Love is a tremendous song, only the man who created Seventeen Seconds could make something that joyous.

Yeah, people pretend to prefer the depressing stuff, but deep down they know it's the shiny pop that's the real deal.

(Tbf I love both. Give me a double bill of One Hundred Years and Just Like Heaven any day)

He gets reliable Download info, and his Foos info was that they were close to signing up for DL but chose Glastonbury instead, so I'd be pretty confident about it being correct.

As said he told us the R&L headliners very early last year, but everyone disregarded it because the Blink booking seemed so stupid/shite.

The shiny pop stuff's great; for me The Cure and Prince are the best creators of pop music out there. In Between Days is one of my favourite ever songs.

That's what's great about The Cure really, isn't it? They're so prolific, they've had so many different styles and phases, never afraid to try different stuff, they're in the makeup of any given modern band. There are only two types of people in this world; The Cure fans, and people who haven't listened to The Cure enough.

I believe Lucky will be right as he was about Leeds and DL. So Foo's is one of the headliners... hmm.

I have seen them before at Leeds in 2012 and although they were good I dont think I will bother again! I get to explore some other stages so thats good :D

Dont really know who I want to be the other two headliners though. FM would be amazing but its looking unlikely... AC/DC would be crap IMO and I cant think of anyone else obvious.
