bocumaroy
No, keep that man away from Glastonbury. The fact that he's such an airless, soulless presence as a pop star only makes the fact that he's a sleazebag seem even more noticeable. Yep, I’m rarely bothered by big pop songs but that ‘Happy’ is probably the worst thing since Blurred Lines.
neil999
I think Burning Man looks incredible. The fact that you have to be involved and take all of your provisions and water really keeps the uncommitted at Coachella as well. i'd be dead within a day... JoBalls
Just seen that on Twitter, John Giddings has said that Foo Fighters turned down his offer to headline IOW... Am not sure if this makes them more or less likely for Glasto...

Matt42
I think most of the early announcements have been the bands fault and not glastonbury. We we will only get confirmations before April if the band confirm it themselves. Anyway by jan/feb you will have a pretty good idea of who's there. The wait isn't that bad. 2013 took ages because we didn't know for sure if the stones were doing it Edited October 23, 2014 by Matt42
FuzzyDunlop
Whilst I appreciate this forum is way ahead in regards to news and rumours... I have been away for a week and hardly been on here so; just in case..... I was told by someone at work today that Zane Lowe mentioned the Foo Fighters would "be at glastonbury" after playing their tune one day this week. I know on this forum it will no doubt have been mentioned - I just cannot be arsed trawling through pages to check on the off chance that it hadn't. Gucci Piggy
Actually I don't think that has been mentioned. It has been said by a fairly reliable poster that they're headlining, though.
Matt42
It's as if all of a sudden multiple places have said the foos are headlining. Funny how they've gone from one of the more unlikely massive options to one of the more likely.
dentalplan
Not really. There's Luckysalt's info and what FuzzyDunlop's mate said which I can't find any mention of it directly around Foos tracks on recent Zane shows, so I'm guessing it may have been misheard. I think it'll happen because of what Lucky said but the rumours aren't quite flying in. Plus they weren't really that unlikely beforehand - they were one of the strongest rumours. tezshields
Can't see Adele doing Glastonbury, isn't she terrified of large crowds? Can't see Adele doing Glastonbury, isn't she terrified of large crowds? It feels riight because: FOOS - Timing of new album and the fact that they have played pretty much every UK festival bar Glastonbury. Unlike many US artists Mr. Grohl is in touch with the UK scene and I believe he would lick his lips at the chance to headline. THE MAC - Reportedly close to confirming on two seperate occasions within the last few years but for unavoidable reasons just didnt happen. Shouldve hadlined last year but due to ill health John McVie couldnt commit. The addition of Christine McVie, a solid US tour and the public desire for European 'festival' dates next summer points towards a Glastonbury headline. FINALLY... Adele. Although this young lady has stated that she is intimidated at the prospect of a big old Pyramid crowd i honestly believe that this will happen. A delayed till 2015 elusive 3rd album and not a glimmer of a tour date to be seen. I reckon she'll be the ace card up the Eavis' sleeve. Its no secret that the festival organisers want her and i reckon with a bitve persuasion she will finally grace the big stage on Sunday and close the festival. Honestly not my cup of Bovril but like i said before, just a humble hunch. I'd prefer Pink Floyd, Led Zep or AC/DC
